This wooden bowl is hand carved and hand painted. The original buyer/picker got it in British Columbia. It probably was made by one of the coastal tribes that made it for trading purposes. Notice the hand cut metal band around the top edge. The bowls have not been refinished so they have a wonderful patina. The material is teak. Circa 1900. British Columbia.
