Paul Mayen had a gift for turning industrial materials into something unexpectedly elegant. Here, stacked chromed steel flat bars form a rhythmic base beneath a generous square glass top, creating a composition that feels as much like sculpture as furniture. The polished chrome reflects its surroundings while the glass all but disappears, allowing the structure below to take center stage.
