Originally made to store kimonos and other textiles, the chest has six drawers: three full-width drawers, a wide lower drawer, and two smaller accessory drawers on the right.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe chest retains its original hand-forged iron hardware, including warabite-style drawer pulls, carrying handles, corner reinforcements, and circular lock plates with chrysanthemum-form decoration.
