A truly remarkable piece, this large round clay vase/planter features a hand applied faux finished patina resembling timeworn bronze or concrete and Greek key-esque band relief design. The tribal or Greek key geometric relief encircles the upper half, adding to the thoughtful design. Made of clay, this piece is suitable for interiors and perhaps covered exteriors to preserve its patina. We imagine this beautiful piece as a show-stopping decorative planter for an indoor tree, large fern, or as a floor vase alone. Wear is consistent with age and use. Believed to be from India, ca. 1980s
