The nightstands are beautifully textured with mappa burl, a highly decorative veneer in light brown peppered by an unusual darker, bark-like pattern of tight clusters. As mappa burl is a natural product from individual trees, each cut of veneer will vary slightly. The design is elevated with a curved edge, a drawer for personal use, and a shelf to hold a stack of books.
