Cassina presents the Maralunga sofa, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973. Maralunga is the embodiment of the very idea of comfort, with an adjustable headrest for a high or low backrest version obtained by inserting a simple bicycle chain inside the backrest foam. Maralunga is one of the most famous Italian sofas, a landmark that has inspired generations of designers and products.

The model comes as an armchair, two- or three-seater sofas in different widths, and a pouf. To mark its 40th anniversary, Cassina presents a new interpretation with fabric or leather upholstery and distinctive profile stitching to make it even more modern and contemporary, also available with a removable cover.
