Eames Molded Plastic Stool

Charles and Ray Eames first developed their iconic molded shell chair in 1950, using wartime molding techniques to create its simple, sculptural form. In 2001, Herman Miller reintroduced the design in recyclable polypropylene, staying true to the Eames' spirit of innovation. In 2022, the evolution continued with select shells crafted from 100% post-industrial recycled plastic. The updated matte finish preserves the chair’s signature texture and is offered in a refined palette of vintage and modern seat colors with white, chrome, or black base. Available in counter height or bar height.
