"The challenge for this space was taking the traditional pieces from our 1930s house in the country and incorporating them into an urban loft in Lawrenceville, an up-and-coming neighborhood in Pittsburgh. I did an off-white epoxy on the concrete floors and painted the walls a bright white, giving a gallery-like backdrop for the more classic pieces. I added modern and 20th-century vintage objects.
